Assembly Member Dan Quart, District Leaders Linda Foa and Sally Minard Endorse Christine Quinn for Mayor
State Assembly Member Dan Quart and District Leaders Linda Foa and Sally Minard announced their official endorsement of New York City Council Speaker Christine Quinn for Mayor of New York, citing her strong record in delivering results for all New Yorkers. These endorsements comes on the heels of a growing list of public officials, labor unions, and political activists who have thrown their support to Christine Quinn, including most recently, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz, Bronx State Senator Gustavo Rivera, and Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney.
“Speaker Christine Quinn is uniquely qualified to be an effective Mayor,” said State Assembly Member Dan Quart. “Christine Quinn not only has a strong, forward-looking agenda for New York, but she has the record to back it up. As Speaker, Christine knows how to bring all sides together to make the tough choices necessary to move this city forward. I am proud to wholeheartedly support the next Mayor of New York City.”

Dan Quart represents New York’s 73rd Assembly District, which encompasses the Upper East Side, Midtown East, Turtle Bay and Sutton Place. Dan Quart, a lifelong New Yorker, serves on the following committees: Committee on Consumer Affairs and Protection, Committee on Corporations, Authorities and Commissions, Committee on Housing, Committee on Insurance, Committee on Judiciary, Committee on Tourism, Parks, Arts and Sports Development and the Committee on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse.
District Leaders Linda Foa and Sally Minard are part of the Lexington Democratic Club and represent the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
